Manna water bottle stainless steel offering is one of my favorites – here’s why. Over the years, I’ve been the owner of many water bottles. I’ve had to buy new water bottles because my old ones kept breaking or wearing out.
Hard plastic bottles (and their caps) crack and scratch when they fall out of mesh backpack bottle holders, and the clear plastic clouds up when washing them with hot water. I was wasting money on plastic water bottles when I should have bought a durable one that would last.
When it came time to buy another water bottle, I decided an insulated stainless steel one would suit me better than hard plastic. It would keep water cold or my favorite tea hot all day long, whether I’m in class, at work, or traveling.
Manna’s stainless steel water bottle could have saved me a lot of money, grief, and spilled water over the years if I’d bought one sooner. Let’s take a closer look.
Before Buying
Table of Contents
Stainless steel insulated water bottles are meant to last. Metal can withstand the occasional fall far more than hard plastic, albeit with a dent or two depending on distance fallen and landing surface.
Many, though not all, are great for either hot or cold drinks. In general, insulated water bottles keep drinks cold for far longer than they do hot. Manna’s water bottle keeps drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12.
Besides, a metal water bottle may be an excellent way for you to reduce the amount of plastic in your life. If you’re like me, my plastic recycling bag fills up way too fast for one person. With all the microplastics floating around in tea, the ocean, and in aquatic animals, less plastic is always welcome.
The ideal customer for such an insulated water bottle would be someone who’s always on the go. This type of water bottle is great for school, work, or traveling because it keeps your drink cold or hot for long periods. Insulated water bottles may also be the right choice for people who struggle to drink enough fluids. If water is always chilled and within reach, it can be easier to hydrate more often.
Keep in mind the essential part: cleaning. Insulated water bottles, like everything else, have to be washed up. Many insulated stainless steel water bottles aren’t dishwasher safe. Even if they are, manufacturers often recommend handwashing anyway. Their narrow necks and small mouths may make it difficult to clean out some drinks, such as coffee.
If you know you’re going to put off cleaning your water bottle because you’ve got to wash it by hand, an insulated water bottle may not be the right product for you.

Features & Benefits
Durable Stainless Steel
Manna’s water bottle is made of 18/8 stainless steel. This high-quality metal is known for its durability and makes the water bottle able to withstand dropping accidents and being bumped around in your backpack. Of course, this doesn’t mean you should throw the bottle around, but it can handle the occasional tumble.
Stainless steel won’t rust or corrode easily, so Manna’s bottle is sure to last you many years. Investing in a high-quality water bottle will save you money in the long run if you’re like me and prone to wearing out such things.
Leak-Proof Cap
This water bottle’s cap is made of 18/8 stainless steel, just like the flask. Save your stuff by using a leak and spill-proof water bottle. “My water bottle ruined my homework” is only a slightly better excuse than your dog eating it. Never have to face that awkward situation again with this bottle! The screw-top design means the cap is too small for a carrying handle. There’s no silicone ring anchoring the bottle to the cap either, which is perfectly fine for some people, but if you tend to lose things, it might not be. Thankfully, Manna has a replacement bottle cap program. If you do happen to lose the cap to your water bottle, you can contact their customer service to get another cap (there may be a fee).
Because this bottle has a screw-on top it might not be suitable for younger children.
Temperature Control
As was noted above, Manna’s insulated water bottle will keep your drinks cold for at least 24 hours and hot for 12. How does it work? This water bottle has an outer wall as well as an inner wall. Between each wall is a vacuum (airless) space. This vacuum barrier slows down the transfer of heat inside and outside the bottle, keeping your beverage of choice at the right temperature for hours.
A double-walled vacuum seal also means this water bottle won’t ‘sweat’ (condensation). Awesome!
Bottle Shape & Size
Manna’s insulated water bottle holds about 2 cups of water. Its compact size means it’ll fit in your purse or backpack. You already have a lot to carry, why should a water bottle weigh you down too?
This bottle’s design is meant to mimic the shape of soft drink bottles (think Coca-Cola or Pepsi). Pretending you’re drinking your favorite soda out of Manna’s bottle will help you cut back on the sugary drinks, but that’s not the point of the soda-bottle shape. Soft drink bottles are easy to hold in your hand, and they fit in standard-size cup holders. Shaping a water bottle the same way gives the same functionality as a soda bottle.
Despite not having a handle or ring of any kind, Manna’s water bottle fits comfortably in your hand, is relatively light, and great for taking on road trips.
Fun Patterns and Designs
If you’re going to buy a water bottle, it might as well be pretty as it is functional. Manna’s insulated water bottle comes in various colors and designs. These include purple, navy blue with anchors, teal, and grey with a “Born This Way” rainbow. Being fabulous is possible on a budget, you know! If you’d rather have a less flashy color, Manna sells pearl white and blue-grey bottles too.

Our Conclusion
It seems that everyone has a water bottle on their school or office desk these days, and I’m a part of that club. Not all water bottles, however, are made equal in quality.
Stainless steel is much more durable than hard plastic. I’ve had plastic water bottles for years, and the flask and lid always chipped, cracked, or broke on me. This is less likely to happen with insulated stainless steel water bottles.
In the long run, buying a single insulated water bottle is cheaper than buying 3-5 plastic ones. Even more, an insulated stainless steel water bottle will keep your drinks cold or hot for hours on end, unlike a plastic one. If you’re looking for a good temperature-controlling bottle, an insulated stainless steel water bottle is something you should consider investing in.
